Historical Lease Layers

Colorado State Layers are available for active oil and gas leases, inactive oil and gas leases, solid mineral leases, surface leases, surface ownership, state stewardship layers, and state subsurface ownership. All data is provided by the Colorado State Land Board and will be updated regularly.

Montana State Layers are available for active oil and gas leases, state oil and gas mineral rights, and surface leases. All data is provided by the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation, and will be updated regularly.

New Mexico State Layers are available for active oil and gas leases, solid mineral leases, active surface leases, subsurface ownership, and state surface ownership. All data is provided by the New Mexico State Land Office and will be updated regularly.

North Dakota State Layers are available for active oil and gas leases and state oil and gas mineral rights. All data is provided by the North Dakota State Land Department and will be updated regularly.

Utah State Layers are available for active oil and gas leases, inactive oil and gas leases, solid mineral leases, surface leases, active oil shale leases, and state surface and subsurface ownership. All data is provided by the SITLA and will be updated regularly.

Washington State Layers are available for active oil and gas leases, surface leases, surface ownership, and subsurface ownership. All data is provided by the State of Washington and will be updated regularly.

Wyoming State Layers are available for active oil and gas leases, active solid mineral leases, surface ownership, and subsurface ownership layers. All data is provided by the Wyoming Office of State Land and Investments and will be updated regularly.

These layers can be viewed or downloaded as shapefiles, and are included in hardcopy maps. A report is also provided for the State lease layers.
