GIS Technican I (Arvada, CO)
The primary functions of this position are to perform GIS data entry, editing, map production and quality assurance utilizing ESRI's suite of ArcGIS applications and our suite of commercial off-the-shelf software products. Principal accountabilities are:
- Responsible for the production of GIS-related services; creation and maintenance of data, geodatabases, and maps through the use of ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and other GIS tools
- Ability to read plat maps and understand geographic data
- GIS data entry
- GIS data editing
- Geo-rectification of images
- Completion of time tracking devices and other required documentation
- Must have a solid understanding of metadata generation, maintenance, and management
Desired background is a Bachelor's degree in GIS, related field or other equivalent business experience, and 2-4 years of experience in the use of various GIS tools; AutoCAD, ARCINFO Workstation, ArcView or ArcGIS. Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a production team. Applicants with backgrounds in the oil & gas industry and/or with federal land records will be given special consideration. An ideal candidate will have experience with the Bureau of Land Management's Master Title Plats and knowledge of the BLM Manual 1275, Land Status Records draft standards.
Information Systems Security Analyst (Rockville, MD)
We are currently seeking an Information Systems Security Analyst to work in the Rosslyn, VA area. The ideal candidate will support our Federal client in Information Assurance and IT Security Services. Principal accountabilities are:
- Knowledge and experience with IT security on a general level. Proficient with the following Information Assurance Federal Security Regulations: OMB A-130 Appendix III; NIST 800-37 Security Guidelines; FIPS Security Publications; DITSCAP; NIACAP
- Understanding of and/or experience in planning, developing, executing and reporting precertification activities (contingency plans, system security plans, NIST 800-26 self-assessments, and coordinating activities comprising a system authorization as described in NIST 800-37)
- Ability to conduct, analyze and prepare risk and vulnerability assessments, accreditation memorandums, and reports
Desired background is U.S. citizenship and an interim Secret U.S. clearance. Also, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related scientific or technical degree, or equivalent experience. At least three years of specific IT security experience. Must also have more than two years experience developing risk assessments for IT systems.
IT Business Developer/Sales Executive (Rockville, MD)
We are currently seeking an IT Business Developer/Sales Executive in the Washington DC Metro area. This position is accountable for developing new business opportunities for the company and generating sales revenues from consulting services in the Federal Government. Principal accountabilities are:
- Responsible for planning, identifying, prospecting, qualifying and closing new business opportunities
- Responsible for developing and maintaining business partners and resellers
- Developing a sales plan to meet and exceed established quotas
- Participate in conferences, trade shows and other sales activities
- Evaluate and respond to selected proposals

Senior GIS Technican (Arvada, CO)
The primary functions of this position at a senior level are to perform GIS data entry, editing, map production and quality assurance utilizing ESRI's suite of ArcGIS applications and our suite of commercial off-the-shelf software products. Principal accountabilities are:
- The production of GIS-related services; creation and maintenance of data, geodatabases, and maps through the use of ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and other GIS tools.
- Demonstrate an advanced knowledge of GIS concepts, including projections, topology, relational databases, and cartographic production.
- Possess knowledge/proficiency in the use of ESRI ArcGIS (9.x) software products including ArcView, ArcMap, ArcCatalog, and ARCINFO Workstation.
- Must have a solid understanding of metadata generation, maintenance, and management.
- Have experience working with land records (spatial and tabular), utilizing various mapping techniques for land-based information systems, and demonstrated proficiency with various forms of PLSS data with a working knowledge of the BLM's Geographic Coordinate Database (GCDB).
- Work closely with supervisor and other project personnel to maintain data consistency and task efficiency for multiple projects.
- Learn the function and application of our off-the-shelf product suite for use in fulfilling product orders.
Desired background is a Bachelor's degree in GIS, a related field, or other equivalent business experience, and at least 5 years of detailed, working knowledge in the use of various GIS tools, including AutoCAD, ARCINFO Workstation, ArcView, or ArcGIS. The successful applicant must have considerable knowledge of and experience with GIS data, geodatabases, and GIS data conversion. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a production team are mandatory.
